Production

The Production section tracks physical job progress through your shop — from printing and cutting through to lamination, finishing, and installation.

The Production Kanban

Navigate to Production in the top nav. Jobs appear here once they’ve been approved in the Design stage. The Kanban board has three columns:
ColumnMeaning
Print / CutJob is queued for printing and cutting
LaminatePrinting is done; job is being laminated
ProductionFinal assembly, finishing, and quality check
Drag a card to the next column as each stage is completed.
Each card shows the customer name, job description, and value. Star a card to prioritise it — starred jobs float to the top of the column.

Tracking a Job Through Production

  1. When a job arrives from the Design stage it lands in Print / Cut.
  2. Once printed and cut, drag the card to Laminate.
  3. Once lamination is done, drag to Production for final finishing.
  4. When the job is fully complete, open the work order and advance it to Invoice stage so it can be billed.

The Install Tab

Click the Install tab at the top of the Production page to see jobs that require installation. The table shows: Customer, Job, Current Status, and Install Date.
  • If no install date is booked, the Install Date column shows a Book Install prompt as a reminder.
  • Once an install date is set on the work order, it appears here so you can schedule your crew.
Keep an eye on the Install tab at the start of each week to confirm upcoming installs are on track.

Completing a Job & Moving to Invoice

When a job is fully complete and ready to bill:
  1. Open the work order by clicking its card.
  2. In the Order Information card on the left sidebar, click the right arrow next to the current stage.
  3. The job advances to Invoice stage and disappears from the Production board.
  4. You can now generate an invoice from the work order — see Invoicing & QuickBooks.

Switching to List View

Click List near the top right to see all production jobs in a sortable table — useful for a quick status scan across a large number of active jobs.
